About the training 

Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) is a training course that covers the principles and theory of the empirical process implemented by the Scrum Framework, and clarifies the role of the Scrum Master™ in this process.

The training combines theory, group exercises and teaches the principles and tools of Scrum and Agility.

The aim is to maximize the application of knowledge in your day-to-day work and train you for the best-known certification test on the market: the PSM I.

André Coelho

He has a degree in IT, a post-graduate degree in Digital Design, and has experienced various flavors of agility since 2007. In 2015 he took a break from his programming career and started working exclusively as an agilist. A Professional Scrum Trainer (PST), he is currently Agility Chapter Manager at Concrete, but his dream is to become a professional LoL player and retire as a YouTuber.

Ivan Santos

He worked as Mobile Project Manager at Dafiti for LatAm and Global Project Manager at Atento. He is a professor of graduate studies in Software Engineering at Faculdade Impacta de Tecnologia (FIT), with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and an MBA in IT from FGV and the University of California (Irvine). He is a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST), PMP certified, Management 3.0, PSM, CSM, CSPO, PSM I, II and III, RFID, ITIL and LeSS Practitioner.

Rodrigo Pinto

He has a degree in Information Technology, a post-graduate degree in Software Engineering, Business Administration and a Master's degree in Productive Systems Management. Professional Scrum Trainer (PST), he has been working with Agility for over 15 years, as a developer, Product Owner, Scrum Master and Agile Chapter Lead.

He has a degree in IT Management and an MBA in Leadership, Innovation and Management 3.0. What is PSM I Training?

Why Scrum.org?

Do I get a voucher for the exam if I buy the training?

All training participants will receive a voucher to attempt the PSM I certification if they achieve 75% of the mandatory minimum attendance at the training. If you take the online exam within 14 days of the training and don't get at least 85% right, you will be given a second attempt at the test and certification at no extra cost. In addition, everyone will be entitled to a 40% discount on the PSM II certification exam. Scrum.org does not require fees or participation in events for you to maintain your certification. Once you have obtained your certification, you do not need to renew it and it is yours forever.

Do I have PMI PDU Credits?

Students who participate in the Professional Scrum Master™ Training can report 14 PDUs to the Project Management Institute (PMI). To obtain the PDUs it is not necessary to pass the PSM certification exam, only to participate in the training. Interested parties can report PDUs in the "Education offered by other third-party PMI providers" category. You can report your PDUs online at ccrs.pmi.org.

Are there any prerequisites for this training?

For this training, it is recommended to know the basics of Scrum and to have worked in a corporate or project management environment. It is not necessary to be or have been a Scrum Master before.
